Cat Subway Station

Many social media influencers incorporate their pets into their content, often for entertainment or viral appeal. However, one content creator has taken this to an entirely new level.

A Chinese YouTuber has gone beyond typical pet videos by building elaborate miniature structures for his cats. His previous creations include a supermarket, a theatre, a spa, and a garage – all designed to cat scale. Most recently, he constructed a fully functioning underground train station, following a request from his followers. The project took four months to complete.

The miniature subway station features impressive details: a moving train, a functioning escalator, and platform doors that open in sync with the train doors. In a two-minute video released on August 17, the YouTuber showed off this creation on his channel, Xing’s World. Though the train is sized for cats, the creator demonstrated that he could fit inside it if lying down flat. The video features his cats riding the train while humorous station announcements are made for the feline “paw-ssengers.”

The realism of the subway scene, dubbed “Cat Town,” amazed viewers. Comments flooded in, praising the detailed craftsmanship and creative design. Some viewers jokingly remarked that the cats enjoy better public transportation than many humans, while others applauded the creator for his dedication and skill.

The YouTuber explained that two of the most challenging parts of the project were engineering the working escalator and synchronizing the opening of both the train and platform doors. Despite these difficulties, the final product was remarkably life-like.

Viewers praised the intricate touches such as varied paint textures and illuminated signage, noting that the miniature station looked like a scaled-down version of an actual subway and could even pass as a movie set. The creator's blend of artistry, engineering, and humor has left a lasting impression on fans around the world.
