KL Park Festival 2025 is a biennial celebration of urban greenery and nature, organised to highlight the essential role parks play in city life. More than just spaces for leisure, parks are vital for recreation, sports, events, biodiversity conservation, and environmental sustainability. They help mitigate floods, support wildlife habitats, and provide clean air, acting as the green lungs of Kuala Lumpur and contributing to a resilient urban ecosystem.
Held at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa from October 17 to 26, the festival is open daily from 9 am to 11 pm, and admission is free. Visitors can enjoy free parking around the park, with shuttle services provided to the event site for convenience.
This 10-day festival aims to bring together communities, organisations, educational institutions, government bodies, and international participants to foster a shared commitment toward greener living. Through creative garden displays, interactive exhibitions, and cultural showcases, the event seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for nature and collective action in building sustainable cities.
With an expected turnout of over 250,000 visitors, the event features 12 key components, including the Malaysian Heritage Garden, Nature Sculpture Art, Residential Garden, KL Balcony Competition, ASEAN Sculpture Garden, Mystical Titiwangsa, Community Garden, and Youth Expressions. Other highlights include Rhythm of Life performances, Adventure and Exploration activities, Nature Inspirations, and the ASEAN Marketplace Bazaar.
This year’s festival carries the theme “ASEAN: Unity in Diversity,” built on four central pillars — Sustainable Living, Cultural Expression, Community Participation, and Nature-Based Innovation. The event is designed to celebrate the diverse cultural, environmental, and artistic traditions of Southeast Asia, showcasing how communities can be united through creativity, sustainability, and shared values.
Key attractions include the ASEAN Halal Food Fiesta, featuring over 100 stalls offering regional dishes, plants, arts, and crafts. Visitors can also participate in outdoor and leisure activities such as glamping, water sports, traditional games, and e-sports. A blend of culture and nature, the festival also hosts the KL Genta Drum Festival, ASEAN cross-cultural dance performances, and visual storytelling through horticulture and folklore in the Mystical Titiwangsa showcase.
